Fans and well-wishers of popular Kannada actor and Bigg Boss Kannada Season 1 winner Vijay Raghavendra are heartbroken with a massive tragedy that struck the actor’s family. Vijay Raghavendra’s wife Spandana Raghavendra passed away in Bangkok on Monday morning (Aug 7). As per the latest reports, Spandana experienced low blood pressure and then suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.

Vacation turns into a nightmare

Spandana was in Thailand on a holiday with her friends and family at the time of this tragic incident. The news has come in as a huge shocker to Vijay Raghavendra, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film in Bengaluru. Spandana’s father and brother are currently on their way to Bangkok to bring her mortal remains to Bengaluru. Her final rites will be performed in Bengaluru tomorrow (Aug 8).

A talented actress and producer

Spandana played a small cameo in the 2016 Kannada film, Apoorva. She also turned producer and bankrolled a movie. Vijay Raghavendra and Spandana tied the knot back in August, 2007. The couple has a son and a daughter. Vijay Raghavendra is the cousin to top Kannada stars Shiva Rajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and the late Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar.
