Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan Graciously Join Adorable AbRam for Flag-Hoisting Ceremony on Independence Day

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated the 77th Independence Day in a special way at his home in Mumbai, called Mannat. He was joined by his wife Gauri Khan and their youngest child AbRam Khan. The actor has expressed how it has become a tradition for them to hoist the Tricolour on their terrace, following last year’s celebrations.

AbRam’s Idea

• Shah Rukh Khan revealed that it was AbRam’s idea to hoist the Tricolour again this year.
• They had done the same last year and now it has become a tradition for them.
• The family celebrated Independence Day by hoisting the flag together.

Shah Rukh’s Message

Shah Rukh Khan shared a picture and video from the ceremony on social media. In his message, he wrote, “Hoisting of our beloved Tricolour and wishing everyone Happy Independence Day. Love to all and may our country, India prosper and all of us with it.” The photo showed him, Gauri, and AbRam dressed in white, posing for a picture next to the National Flag. In the video, he was seen saluting the flag together with their staff members.

Celebrations and Wishes

Fans and followers of Shah Rukh Khan also wished him a ‘Happy Independence Day.’ Many expressed their pride in him as a symbol of India. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty also unfurled the National Flag at her home with her mother and son Viaan. They even sang the National Anthem.

Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

Shah Rukh Khan participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga campaign’ by changing his social media profile picture to the Tricolour. This campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to encourage citizens to display the Indian flag.

Upcoming Projects

In other news, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans can look forward to his upcoming film “Jawan” which is set to release on September 7. The action thriller, directed by Atlee, also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Sanya Malhotra. Additionally, he has a project with director Rajkumar Hirani called “Dunki” opposite Taapsee Pannu, but the official release date is yet to be announced.
