Mauricio Pochettino hands transfer boost to Real Madrid
The Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe story has been ongoing for years now
The Frenchman has never appeared closer to leaving Paris Saint-Germain than he does at this point in time though. For the first time, PSG are the ones looking to part ways with him. That is because they do not want to lose out on a significant transfer fee as his contract runs out next summer and it does not look like he is interested in signing an extension.
The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, and a few more have been touted as possible destinations for Mbappe. But unsurprisingly, Real Madrid has been placed as heavy favourites to sign him.
It feels almost inevitable that Mbappe would end up at Real Madrid someday. There is still a lot of uncertainty about the timing of the move though.
Real Madrid and PSG reportedly will agree Mbappe deal
There seems to be an update on the situation of Mbappe and it is a very positive one if you are a Real Madrid fan. As reported by MARCA, Rodrigo Faez said:
“Kylian Mbappé will pass to Real Madrid, PSG and Real Madrid will reach an agreement.”
That will be music to the ears of the Spanish club’s supporters. It is quite clear that they need someone to play centrally up top. The 4-4-2 experiment in pre-season has not brought about the best results, as Carlo Ancelotti’s team lost to Barcelona and Juventus.
Mbappe could come in and take up the role of a centre-forward for Real Madrid, with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo returning to the wings. At the same time, the Frenchman would establish himself as the face of the club too.
