Welsh Fire had an outstanding start with Luke Wells scoring an impressive 59 runs while Glen Phillips provided crucial support with 19 runs. The team posted a total of 94/3. In response, only two players from Manchester Originals, Jos Butler and Max Holden, managed to perform, both scoring 37 runs each. The team concluded at 85 runs with the loss of four wickets at the end of the match. Shaheen Afridi and David Willey took two wickets each, leading Welsh Fire to victory.
